Dear Parents/Guardians:

Mayo County Council has contacted us, to help raise awareness of the hazard of burning materials that emit toxic and carcinogenic gases on bonfires, on Bonfire night.

We will host our annual ice Cream Day for Down Syndrome on 14th June ’19. Invitations to follow. Pupils should bring in €2 for an ice cream.

Mass for the 6th class will be held on 18th June’19. We wish Daniel, Callan, Ríona and Anna all the best, as they head off to Secondary School.

Thanks so much for the lovely flowers, presented by the Parents of our Communion Class.

For the month of June, during fine weather, pupils are permitted to wear shorts and a t-shirt, to school. We will hold Sports Day on the next spell of fine weather. Pupils should be prepared, and bring in a spoon, potato, old tie and sack. They will need a hat, sunscreen and extra drinks too.

The school will close for the summer holidays on the 27th June ’19 and re-open on Monday 2nd September ’19. We hope everyone has a great summer break.

Yours sincerely,
